Learn to mix 4 artisinal cocktails, accompanied by a pairing of specially prepared hors d'oeuvres. At this event you will learn to make: Hemingway Daiquiri: Gold Rum, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, fresh grapefruit juice and Luxardo cherry liqueur - on the rocks. Upstate Smash: Seasonal Upstate Berries, Simple Syrup,Lemon Juice and Cachaça (Brazilian spirit derived from sugar cane) - on the rocks. Metro Manhattan: Rye, Sweet Vermouth, Brandied Cherries and Fig Bitters - served up. Old Fashioned: Muddled orange, cherries and cane sugar, bourbon, angostura bitters, splash of soda water - on the rocks. Each drink will be paired with a tasting course hors d'oeuvre including a soup shooter, followed by tastings for a fish course, meat course, cheese course and a dessert. After the class, please stay for a private reception with more drink and food. After the event you are invited to stay for a Jazz concert at 10pm.
