Where are you from?
Hello. My name is Angel. I am from hackensack, nj but I am currently in newark, nj.
What do you like about New York?
I love everything about NYC. The New York energy is the best. when i get into the city, my mood changes. I get live just from the new york energy. Every part of NYC has a different kind of energy. I lived in Harlem for 6 years and I loved every minute of it. In NYC, Its always something to do, people to meet and places to see. The nightlife is unlimited. Its always a party, celebration or a big event. I moved from out the city back into NJ and kept my NYC job. I needed to still have part of the city with me.
Beauty Tips?
My beauty tips are simple. I use alot of cocoa butter and shea butter. Its great for your skin & gives a radiant glow. I love palmers cocoa butter because its great for old and new scars. I use pure shea butter along with it. I exfoliate my whole body with apricot scrub 3-4 times a week. I maintain my hair with very limited products. Too many products will stop hair growth. To promote my hair growth, all Ive been using is hair oil, oil sheen and drink alot of water. I get my nails and feet done every 2 weeks. Taking a multi-vitamin a day is part of my beauty regimen. It helps the whole body. The best beauty tip I have is nothing works better to make you beautiful better than water. Water is the most natural health aide. I drink up to a gallon a day.
What is the craziest thing that has happened to you in NYC?
The craziest thing thats ever happened to me in NYC was my 4th of july in the city. I was still new to the city so the NYC energy was sending me all over the place. I was happy, excited, slightly scared (lol), wanted to see more and I got lost in all the people. I was definately not a new yorker yet. lol. They were exploding firecrackers and lenox was definately live. I had my first nutcracker that night! That one event made me fall in love with harlem.
Where do like to shop?
I LOVE to shop on 125th street. They have so many different stores with different styles. A day on 125th for me is shopping, going to get my nails and feet done, take a break and grab something to eat then Im back to shopping. lol. When Im done there, I will either head down to canal street or 149th and 3rd avenue to shop some more. I love bringing stuff back for my Jersey family.
