**UPDATE**Florida Pastor found dead in Times Square Hotel Room(White Powder)

Damn, Damn, Damn, Damn, ( In our Best Martin's Mom's voice) We really did not see or, want to see this coming, but CMNY has learned that a white powdery substance believed to be narcotics was discovered on the body of a 42-year-old Florida pastor who was discovered dead in a hotel room in Times Square, a law enforcement official said Monday.

The cause of death for Rev. Zachery Tims, Jr., who led an 8,000-member ministry in Orlando, was still pending.

Tims’ body was found Friday afternoon when housekeepers at the W Hotel attempted to clean his room but found it latched from the inside. Hotel security opened the door and found Tims lying on his back between the bedroom and living room area.

According to a law enforcement official, police found a glassine envelope with a white powdery substance inside the right pocket of his shorts. The substance was being tested, according to a law enforcement official.

Another law enforcement official familiar with the case said, “what that white powdery substance is and whether it played a role in Mr. Tims’ death is still to be determined.” We will keep you posted as this story develops.....

 

#WTF! The devil is always on his job! CMNY has learned that a preacher who led one of the largest congregations in Central Florida was found dead in a Times Square hotel on Friday, police sources said.

The body of Zachery Tims, 42, the senior pastor of New Destiny Christian Center in Apopka, was discovered in his 37th-floor room of the posh W Hotel on Broadway near W. 46th St. about 6 p.m., the sources said.

“He’s going to be missed,” the mayor of Apopka, John Land, told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

It was not clear whether Tims was alone at the time of his death. The city’s medical examiner will perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

This Tims character wasn’t the most pious of the Lord’s humble servants…

In 2009, Tims and his wife of 15 years divorced after the pastor admitted to having an affair with another woman. Riva Tims, who is also a pastor, left the church to pursue her own ministry, Majestic Life Institute. hmmmmmmm
